SO this is my First attempt at a monster creation 
I'm a huge fan of RWBY from Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth and I decided to try and create a Grimm from scratch, Araneae is the the result.
This is my first really sketch I'm publishing so its not great but I will be working on it in other sketches to improve that.
Araneae means 'spider' in Latin, simple but effective
The two spiders that I used to create this we're the Red Backed spider; the body and the legs (sorry for the appalling legs btw) and the Tarantula; the hairs on the legs and the fangs.
I'm sorry to any real artists out there for making you cry :s
And also sorry if your arachnophobic :s
